Author review: RUN DON'T WALK from this pretend translator. Meets deadline but I get a warning that the bio isn't in the proper language, and when I asked for the book title (to get a cover done ahead of time), and had cover prepared, when the book was "done" the title didn't match what she'd told me. When I sent her the cover and the comments, she wrote EXCELLENT. I don't think she really understands English beyond using a translation software. I am trying to get out of the contract. Cumple el plazo pero me avisa de que la biografía no está en el idioma adecuado, y cuando le pedí el título del libro (para tener una portada hecha con antelación), y tenía la portada preparada, cuando el libro estaba "hecho" el título no coincidía con lo que me había dicho. Cuando le envié la portada y los comentarios, escribió EXCELENTE. No creo que entienda realmente el inglés más allá de usar un programa de traducción. Estoy tratando de salirme del contrato. Author review: Esta persona usa programas de traducción automática. En uno de mis ficheros tengo una fuente especial para el título (que por cierto, está en inglés aunque el resto del texto está en español) y en las diez primeras páginas que me envió me di cuenta de que el título había sido traducido al español (la traducción que ella tenía que hacer era de español a inglés) y el resto del texto tenía la misma fuente del título (ya que al copiar en el programa desde el título, éste habría traducido con la fuente primera que encontró) Ella ni siquiera se dio cuenta de esto porque no debe revisar ni el archivo que envía, ya que la fuente en la que me lo envió es bastante peculiar (de gran tamaño, muy vistosa... una fuente para el título, vamos), no es tipo Times o Arial. No es alguien que traduzca, es solamente una persona que quiere ganar dinero a costa de gente que no se dé cuenta de lo que hace con las traducciones (sobra decir que estas traducciones son penosas, claro, alguien de habla inglesa no sería capaz de comprender nada) |
