With a BA in International Trade and a Specialized Degree in International Businesses, as well as after receiving training in English Language Teaching in Mexico and abroad, Colonel and Dr. J. Pedro Galindo Macías has taught for over 35 years, including courses on teaching and interpreters and translators training.
He has served as an in-house Interpreter-Translator for more than 35 years. He obtained decorations for Teaching Merit in 1997, for Perseverance in Active Duty in the Extraordinary category, and the Legion of Honor. With excellence in postgraduate studies in Technical Translation in Mexico and 32 books translated and published from English and Italian.
He moved to the US to pursue a Master's Degree in Translation-Interpretation, which has confirmed his hypothesis and experience.
He is an Associate member of the Mexican Association of Literary Translators, Honorary Member of the College of Graduates in Translation and Interpretation, and he appears in the records of the Encyclopedia of Literature in Mexico.
He is an Extraordinary Ad Honorem Researcher and Doctor in Education. Thesis advisor of students at the Mexican War School.
Translator-Subtitler for TedTalks, for the Santa Fe Institute of Complexity Sciences, and for Sprouts.
In the military, he served as Deputy Director of Translation and Interpretation at the Mexican Language School of the Mexican Army and Air Force University.
Dr Galindo is General Director of English4All.
