I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker who has studied and practice English for over twenty years.
I received my Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge-ESOL in 2003, and have ever since worked either with translations or as a teacher. From academic papers to legal contracts and, more recently, novels, I have a passion for knowledge that fits this career like a glove.
I graduated both in Philosophy and Social Sciences and Modern Languages and have an extensive portfolio of courses and workshops in forensic sciences, technology, legal contract writing, literature and writing, business, dentistry, ophthalmology, etc. I first started on the literary world, however, as an appraisal reader for a Brazilian publisher, which allowed me learn more about fiction writing and publishing than any theoretical syllabi could provide.
