My primary job is as a software/web developer and web marketing consultant.
I am also an avid sci-fi reader; I love translating books on this subject.
I have been translating as a side job for about 20 years, translating all sorts of texts: books, lectures, promotional items, subtitles, websites, etc.
I can translate a wide range of subjects, but I prefer fiction (mainly sci-fi) and technical (mainly IT related) ones, because I have a long term familiarity with these subjects, their jargon and the established style rules for their translations.
I lived 3 years in the US and 1 year in Denmark, so I'm also quite familiar with actual (not just textbook) spoken English, including its slangs and idioms.
