My name is Angelica, and I've been a freelance translator for 20+ years.

I studied translation and interpretation (German, English, Italian) at the University of Trieste (Italy), where I graduated in 1996.

After that I traveled the world as an interpreter, working mainly for hotels and scuba diving centers.

In 2006 I founded my own translation company (The Hagenz) together with my husband Daniel.

Currently, I mostly translate marketing texts - for hotels, restaurants, and technology companies. Plus, I run a translators' community on facebook ("Übersetzercouch" - see link below).

However, I'm about to finish my vegan nutritionist course. Therefore, I'm particularly interested in translating related topics. I've already started my own vegan blog (Kindness Kitchen - see website below).

Furthermore, I'm a yogini (Yin Yoga), a Reiki lover, and an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner, and - of course - a passionate meditator.

Last but not least, I love books, more than anything (more than my cat, to be clear).
