Born and raised in The Netherlands, I studied English Literature and Translation at the University of Amsterdam. For over 30 years I worked for a multinational energy company. In various positions in Public Affairs, External Affairs and Documentation Services I gained vast experience in writing, translating and proofreading both English and Dutch texts.
In 2015 I took up freelance copywriting and translating English texts for Dutch websites as a hobby. In 2022 I switched to translating books. Other interests: I am an avid - some say obsessive - reader of historical crime and espionage fiction.
