The Junglies Play Hide & Seek

Children’s Fiction

Pages 4 & 5

Jungle Man was teaching the Junglies how animals used their surroundings to avoid being seen by other animals.

He pointed to a stick insect on a tree branch, a chameleon in a green bush and a flower that was not really a flower but a butterfly with its wings spread open.

Pages 6 & 7

The Junglies were amazed. They had never realised animals could blend in with their surroundings.

To finish the lesson Jungle Man said, “Now we will play hide and seek. You must all go and hide using your surroundings and I will come and look for you.”

The friends all went to hide while Jungle Man counted to one hundred.

Pages 8 & 9

When Jungle Man finished counting he started to search for the Junglies.

First he searched in the dense trees. It was dark and a little sunlight shone through the leaves to the ground.
