My name is Rayanne Vieira, I'm 25 years old and a Lawyer from Brazil. I have been studying English from a young age and would consider myself to be at an advanced level. I'm a bookworm, and as such I've always been interested in languages. Because of this, translating is one of my favorite things and something I've been doing as a hobby on different platforms (ie. Youtube, Viki, Vapp/Vlive, etc.) for a decent amount of time.
The main reason I've decided to start translating for babelcube is because I aspire to, someday, be a writer myself. I think that a well rounded translation can really impact the reader's immersion and investment in the book. Which is why I'd love to be a part of the experience and treat it with the love and respect it deserves seeing that I know how hard the writing journey can be. In addition, seeing another author's process up close, and assisting them may help motivate me to reach my own goals.
Therefore, I'd like to add that I'm okay with reading and translating all genres and will hopefully be able to learn and gain experience while doing something I love.
