More than 22 years as an English-Spanish Translator

Hello Writer,

I have obtained my English-Spanish Translator and Conference Interpreter Degree on 1995 at ELADI Institute (The Latin American Institute for Language Studies) in Santiago, Chile.

I have worked mainly as a Technical Translator but I have translated some books for myself and for my children. My clients know me for the quality, reliability and puntuality in the delivery of my work.

In Chile there is no work for literary translators because there are no editorials that work with translators because all the texts are translated in Spain, Mexico or some other country. Therefore, for translators who live in Chile is very difficult to work on this area.

I love book and I am an avid reader. I have not always found in Spanish what I wanted to read, therefore I made the translations of these books for myself and, also, as a way of training. I can not mention their titles due to the Author Copyright problem.

I really would love to translate books as a Professional Translator and this is the reason why I studied translation as a career, in order to have the opportunity to translate books which is what I like to do.

I hope to fulfill my dream through this website because publishing houses do not give a chance to an unknown technical translator.
