I am a native English and Portuguese speaker with a degree in Translation (English, Portuguese and Spanish). I have been a freelance translator since 2004 and have worked with translation agencies from all over the world. I really got bored of translating all the technical documents and I found Babelcube which gave me the oportunity to work directly with independent authors to translate their books. I love reading so this gives me an oportunity to read peoples novels and also translate them to open up other markets for the author.

Author review: There were both American and British words in the translation. A lot of expressions weren't adapted to English and obviously didn't make sense. I could find words that weren't used in English. I had to read the book three times to correct the mistakes, which made me take longer to publish it. |
