Having been raised in Germany, I completed my A-levels in England and then studied languages in Germany before moving to Italy where I began my professional translation career. After living on the Atlantic coast of Morocco for 10 years, I moved to Rome/Italy six years ago. My 24 years of experience as a freelance translator include technical, medical, legal, and business/marketing translations as well as website and article translations. 5 years ago, I specialized in book translations from English and Italian to German. In the past, I have translated 20 books, some of them here on Bablecube and a series of 12 sci-fi novels for an American author.
