- My relationship with literature and translation
I've been a language instructor since 1987. Teaching French and English to learners of all ages is a joy. Not long ago, I realized that my favorite moment is when students fall in love with stories written in French. I would like for non-French speaking readers to have a similar experience with translated French texts. It is a privilege to impart the author’s voice to avid readers.
As a translator, I am able to make use of my language skills and educational experience. I have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in French language and have just completed a French to English translation certificate. Literary translation combines my love of reading in French, writing in English and sharing great stories.
