Biography

My interest in books and languages started at an early age, and from the age of 5, I lost myself daily in the adventures of the Famous Five, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. My early teenage years were heavily influenced by authors such as Stephen King, Dean Koontz, David Eddings and Robert Jordan.

Later on, I added authors like Jane Austen, Joseph Conrad, Edgar Allan Poe and William Shakespeare to my repertoire. My studies led to a BA in languages and literature, and in turn to working and living abroad. The years I spent in Ireland and England broadened and deepened my knowledge of the English language, and when I returned home to Sweden I started working as a freelance translator.

My family and I now resides in Järfälla, a short drive north of Stockholm, together with our Frenchie, Bella, and the memories of our boxers Sherlock and Watson.
