My aspiration is to become an English translator. in fact I am in search for texts or novels to translate from English to Italian. I finished my studies in December 2017. I attended The “Insubria University”, in Como, graduating with the highest grades in Intercultural And Interlinguistic Mediation. I studied 3 languages: English, Spanish and German. However, I prefer to focus on English mainly, as I have been studying it since Primary School. My knowledge of the English language could be around level B2 or C1. My graduation paper is focused on the analysis of the movie “Inglourious Basterds” by Quentin Tarantino. I consider the movie in its original language, but there are also dialogues in German and French with English subtitles. My dissertation studies a particular aspect of the movie: the linguistic and paralinguistic features of oral interactions between the various characters, in terms of communication and expressiveness.I also attended an online course in 2018 for English Editorial Translation. This training course is held by “La Matita Rossa”, a literature agency.
