I am Elisa de Diego, English>Spanish translator and interpreter.

I studied Translation and Interpreting at Universidad de Valladolid, Spain. Since I was a child, I was keen on reading and languages, so I decided to take full advantage of this and started studying English, French and German to become a translator.

Some years ago, I passed the C2 Proficiency English Test and I spent 10 months living in Cardiff, Wales, what gave me fluency and helped me to learn English in a different way, interacting with real English speakers.

I would like to become a writer and I even write quite often my own narratives in Spanish, that's why I would like to be a literary translator too, as I think the best way to write is to learn from other specialists. 

Appart from my will of being a writer, I do not close the door on becoming an interpreter and I am even preparing to studying a Masters in Conference Interpreting.
