Diogo lived and studied in Switzerland (French spoken area) until he was 16 years old. Then he came to Portugal where he completed high school and his degree. He has a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, specialization in Portuguese and French Studies, from Coimbra University.

Diogo teaches Portuguese and French in public and private schools in Portugal since 2008.
He also has several translating experiences in these 2 languages. Besides teaching, he was a Portuguese and French interpreter and translator for a Portuguese company in Morocco. He’s currently a Portuguese and French senior editor at Unbabel, an online startup based in San Francisco, California. Since 2010 he also translates as a freelancer for small companies and individuals.
