My name is Davy and I am a freelance translator from a city in the North of Italy.

My educational path includes

-High school diploma at a Technical Institute for Tourism,

-B.A. and an M.A. degree in Chinese Language and Culture and some additional courses in Legal Translation and in Intercultural Mediation.

-Update courses: Cultural Mediation (2016), Legal translation (2017), European Informatics Passport (2020), "Come diventare Traduttori" (2021); ongoing: "Technical Translation" and "Transcreation"  

During my education path and my work experience I have had the chance to be a translator and an interpreter in different fields, in particular I have experience in the legal field, in the medical field and with websites content.

For every job I obviously adapt my methods to the client/audience, but I always try to bring one meaning from the original language to the target language, which means, it's not about words from the dictionaries, it's more about meanings and culture. Moreover, my intercultural background (Asian mixed person, born in Italy), forced me somehow to be very very flexible and to be very open minded.

Working hard, clean communication and the proper knowledge! That's what I put in the first place when I start working. Looking forward to be in touch with you!
