Christina Makridou (translator)

I love reading, but I hate it when the translation is a barrier between author and reader.

Christina makridou

I was born in Veroia, Greece in 1970, where I lived until the age of 18. I moved in Thessaloniki where I studied agronomy. I also studied english, french, spanish, portuguese and italian. I worked as an agricultural engineer in most parts of Greece until 2007, when I moved to Argentina. I lived there for 11 years and I finaly came back to Greece in 2018. I am very interested in literature, poetry, theatre, music and creative writing. I  have already translated some literary texts from spanish of Argentina into greek.

I am always looking for good books to read and translate,

Christina Makridou

MESSAGE FROM THE GREEK PROOFREADER I HIRED:
I would like to inform you that after thoroughly checking and comparing both the files given I decided not to proofread, edit and correct the greek file. I decided I had to make a new translation from the start. The already translated file didn't make sense in most of the "saying" parts. So I have already started translated again
