Sample text:

She watched him standing there in the wings, patiently waiting for his introduction. To the casual eye, Michael Emmerson was his normal, confident, relaxed self. But, Gloria knew different. She’d been his wife for the last twenty years and she could see things others couldn’t.

She thought she saw a slight apprehensiveness in his body language, reminiscent of the first time he asked her for a date. To this day she still wasn’t sure why he had pursued her as vigorously as he had. She had been a tall, lanky teenager with unruly red hair and a flair for fashion that could only be called eccentric, if one were to be kind.
