I've had a true passion for languages since I was a little girl. I started learning English at the age of 5. In the school years I attended several extra-courses, and spent almost every summer in Cornwall, where I had friends. After high school I studied at the School for Interpreters and Translators in Florence, where I obtained a degree in translation and interpretation for English and German. My degree work for English was the translation of some chapters of Paul Hill's "Stolen Years", the story of the Guildford four, on which the film "In the Name of the Father" was based. After my degree I started to work as a technical translator of production manuals in the family company, which was a footwear import-export business, and after several years I started as a freelance translator and private language teacher. During the last years I've attended personal-growth courses and I've read many books related to this topic, both in English and Italian, so I'm very familiar with the subject.
Translating is what I enjoy doing the most, I love language, it shapes reality,and translation is a bridge that connects people, cultures and worlds.
