New experience

Dear Sirs/Madams,

                              I´m Regina Pinto. I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

                              I have been a teacher of English for quite a long time. I worked for Language Institutes for many years. I have been  working at a federal public school for 15 years now - Colégio Pedro II. 

                             I have just graduated at a fifteen-month online translation course. I have accomplished my first translation experience for Babelcube, and the book is now published. I have some previous translation experience with academic abstracts, parts of a book and articles  I did for a Research Laboratory at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, during my PhD. In May of the current year I did some voluntary work for TRL Global Foundation as a TRL Pro Bono.

                                        At the moment I am at home, so are most people worldwide  due to the COVID-19 and I guess this a 'good' time to go on with this experience. 

                          I have a high English level in the 4 skills (maybe a bit less in Writing) and very good command of both languages - English and Portuguese. I also have a good understanding of French and I am able to translate from French into Portuguese but at an easy-medium level. In both cases I would like to translate short texts to start with, if possible. 

                         I can translate from French (easy-medium level) and English (advanced level) into Portuguese . I can also Translate from Portuguese into English.
