At school I learned English and Italian, then I studied political sciences and the Italian language in Innsbruck, Austria.
Since 2012 I have been living most of the time in Gambia/West Africa, where English is one of the official languages. I run a hotel there with my husband. In my freetime I wrote the book "Mangoknoedel" and with my colleague Irene Wieser I have already translated a couple of books.
I've always been fascinated by languages, other cultures and countries and I love to find the right words and phrases in different languages. I like to travel, read and write books.
