I perfectly know that your book will never be the same in another language - everybody knows it, but at least we can make your book available to as many people speak that foreign language, and eventually appeal to as many clever people among them read books, get interested with stories, and passions, and laugh for uncommon jokes or start reflexion upon serious issues.

That will cost you nothing, that is a great expense compared with the money you could raise thanks to a publisher. But just focus on the perspectives, the possibilities of gaining fame and money enterely on your hands - that's thrilling, isn't it!

On my part, I confess I am myself a writer too. At least I will be, since my book is not completed yet. Anyway, I've got the breath of literature in my lungs, and will share my book as soon as it will be ready. For the time being, I share my translating skills. Yet, I'm still very young and with a lot of work to do, but on the other hand I'm acquainted with the great Authors of all times, who I read in their original languages, and am able to speak and write four languages at a high standard - Spanish, English, Portuguese, and of course my native language Italian.

I also could say that I have experience in translating texts regarding Trade & Marketing, or Philosophy or articles from newspapers. Nothing really matters while translating a narrative book, though. Instead it requires empathy, I would suggest, the empathy that just another writer that felt the creative energy can provide.
