My name is Melita Joy, and I write romance novels and children's books. I have written; The Perfect Date, His Discarded Bride, Gisella, Jeffrey's Adventures, Sadie-Leigh's Sweet Dreams and The Rainbow Bedtime Series. I have 1 million reads on Wattpad.
His Discarded Bride was a Top 25 Finalist in the Harelquin So You Think You Can Write Contest. I have over 2300 followers on facebook and 5200 on Instagram. I would like to increase my readership by having my stories translated into other languages. My plan is to release two to three books per year. I recently ran a free promotion on Amazon and ranked 6th in the contemporary romance genre.
On a personal note, I am forty-four years old, married with six children who are now all adults and I also work full time as a national customer service manager. With the children all grown up, I find that I have a lot more time to dedicate to my writing.
I look forward to finding a friendly team of translators who are particularly interested in the romance genre or translating children's stories. Already, I have sold over 2,800 books through Babelcube. Thanks to the wonderful translators I have had the privilege to work with.
