An engineer with a love for languages

I'm a mechatronics engineer from Spain/Colombia. I speak Spanish (Native), English (C1), and a bit of German (A2) and French (A1).

I'm working as a researcher, so I have extensive knowledge in technical writing in both English and Spanish, specially when the topics are related to engineering, programming, or technical documentation. Also, given that I write scientific papers for a living, I have the attention to detail needed to review texts.

I studied translation in the Colombo Americano Center in Cartagena, Colombia. In this course I learned various techniques to obtain a better translation in both English and Spanish.

I have experience teaching English and translating subtitles and books from English to Spanish and the other way around.
