I've been teaching English for 40 years, some translations and book reviews, but now I've quit teaching and want to work at home.

I love languages, the meaning of words, the culture behind every language. In my late childhood I studied in a French school and when I was a teenager I studied in a German school, so I can also speak French and German, but not as a translator.  I am also a Scout leader in a German group in São Paulo.

Actually, I like people, I like to help people, but the city traffic and urban violence have forced me to make a choice: work at home. I studied English and Portuguese Translation at college in the early 80s and that was my dream, but as I got married and had babies, school and being a teacher became closer to real life.

I have written some book reviews, and some small translations in different areas, and I also have some practice with Interpretation.

Now, I believe life gives me a second chance and I'm willing to give it a try. I hope we can work together.
