Words connect Worlds! Priority is the name of my game!

I was born in South Africa but was very priviledged to have an international upbringing. My father worked for an airline and as a result we lived in Australia, Holland, and Portugal. I also went to school in England.

After leaving school I joined an airline as flight stewardess which I enjoyed for a number of years.I have since completed my BA degree with Linguistics and Ancient History as my major subjects.

As far as work is concerned; I have been a "jack of all trades; master of none". I have au paired in the US, taught English in Korea and nursed in the UK.

I am an avid reader and other hobbies include: cooking, sport, sewing, movies.

Having lived and visited so many countries I have been able to pick up many colloquialisms which is helpful for translations. To date I have not translated any books but I have had plenty of practise with informal translations. I look forward to my first assignment.
