Cheers! I’m Laura Quinn, a published novelist, freelance writer, writing instructor and public speaker. I have extensive writing and editing experience in the corporate, literary, newspaper, online and nonprofit sectors. My recent speaking engagements include ComicCon, NaNoWriMo, Pop Culture Con and The University of Chicago Arts Panel, as well as local colleges and libraries. 

My first published novel was "Punk Charming", which received critical acclaim, including being awarded the Readers' Favorite 5 Star Seal and was a semi-finalist in the Screencraft Cinematic Book competition earlier this year. I just completed my second novel, "Three Woofs for the Dead, White and Blue", the first book of my "Pawtisserie Mysteries" cozy mystery series. I am working on the second book in the series, "We Woof You a Deadly Christmas". 

My education includes a Master of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Chicago, Writing coursework at The Graduate School at Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from DePaul University, and British Literature and Poetry studies at Oriel College, Oxford University. I am honored to be a member of the Chicago Writers Association, Golden Key National Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
