Hi everybody, my name is Laura. I live in Italy, the motherland of classic literature and a paradise for authors and bookworms, but I also live in every other place books teleport me to.

I had already been translating fanfictions for a couple of years when I realized that my passion could become my future, so I started studying languages and graduated in Translation and Interpreting. The publishing industry, though, was not really welcoming due to its strong, long-lasting crisis and I had to look for a full time job in a completely different field to support me.

I like my job, but... nothing compares to the beauty of words that line up to create sentences and recall emotions; there is nothing better in the world than a well written character, nothing more captivating than a plot full of twists, nothing as fascinating as a friendship that evolves into love, an adventure that leads to a thousand and more foreign places, an endless war between good and evil. How could I stop reading, translating, recreating, dreaming, loving?

I love to be asked for translations by authors themselves. I always try to be as professional, supportive and of course as fast as possible - but this is not my first job. When I work on your books, I do it in my free time. I can't translate 200 pages in two months. I can't commit to monthly checks and periodical updates. I can't afford to work on books that have sold three copies in the whole world over the last five years. Please be reasonable.

I can translate from English, German, Portuguese and Spanish. I'm a fan of fantasy literature, generous doses of romance, complicated mysteries and witty humor. Be bold and send me a message, you won't regret it!
