I don't have a formal education as a translator but I lived for over a year in an English speaking country and I took university courses there. I am familiar with formal language and grammar.

I am also very used to translate things because I used to do it as a method of study. Since most of the good materials were written in English, I would read them and translate into Portuguese. This helped me fixate what I was reading and to help my friends who couldn't read in English as well
