Jessica f. rhodes

Certified Translation Professional in English <> Spanish translation. Born and raised in Mexico, I started learning English since I was 3 years old and never stopped learning; both languages are an essential part of my life and have shaped who I am, even more so now that I live in the U.S.

As a translator, I specialize in Psychology, Journalism, Social Sciences and Literature (fiction and nonfiction). I also translate texts on Religion, Environment, Art and Entertainment, Interior Design, Video Games, general documents and other related fields.

I have been an avid reader since I was a kid and I am passionate about books. My preferred fiction genres are Fantasy and Science Fiction. Regarding non-fiction, the themes I am interested in are Psychology, self-help, writing and spirituality.

I strive to deliver high quality translations, for I love to help people have access to other cultures that would have remained out of their reach otherwise.

Author review:
Jessica has done excellent work, and is lovely to deal with. The only negatives are that it did take slightly longer than usual, which didn't actually bother me as she wanted to do good work, but since it's a criteria in the consideration, I've mentioned it. Also, Jessica has provided me with Spanish translations of promo tweets, which is great, but she doesn't have a large marketing network, so we're both struggling with promotion in my opinion. But I would definitely recommend her as a talented and trustworthy translator who I would love to have translate other books in the future.
