I am a Bolivian translator born in Tarija City, with Spanish as my native language.  I learnt English in the Bolivian American Institute, an institution from the USA which allowed me to understand this language in a perfect way.  I worked as an English teacher in diferent institutions for children and adults of all ages.  I took my TOEFL test obtaining an almost perfect score.  From then on, I worked preparing future travelers and students into taking international tests.  I started doing translations four years ago as a hobby but moved forward into academic translation with travel papers and identifications from USA emigration and immigration.  I am an avid reader of all kinds of literature both in English and Spanish, and an amateur writer myself.

Isabel hizo un estupendo trabajo, dándole el acento natural que yo buscaba, para que no fuera una traducción literal que chocase a los lectores nativos. En cuanto a las revisiones, un libro traducido conlleva una labor de reescritura también, y en ese sentido creo que ambas hicimos un buen equipo para lograr el mejor resultado posible.
