Good morning!
With pleasure I would like to introduce myself to you. I am Inge Badts, an author for Highschool books, a translator and a Highschool teacher. I have a Bachelor in Psychology and Teaching.
I did the APTIS-test and was rewarded with the highest level in writing, reading, speaking and listening by the British Counsel.
Ever since I was a little girl, I had a sweet spot for everything that had to do with books and the English language. Reading an endless amount of books in three different languages (English, Dutch or French), teaching Psychology in English for Dutch speaking pupils or trying to write a few chapters of my own novel, …
Lucky me, I found a job as an author and freelancer, with Plantyn NV, writing and working on schoolbooks for High School pupils, next to my teaching job. I have been doing so for the past three years now. This job has given me insight in all the different aspects writing and publishing a book is all about. The job has encouraged me to do even more within the fascinating world of books.
Translating your book from English to Dutch or from Dutch to English, is what I was born to do!
