I am a Sworn Professional Translator. I can translate any kind of book.

I am a professional Sworn Translator for 18 years, I am 48 years old.  My mother tongue is Spanish and I am based in the metropolitan area of Guatemala City, Central America.  In the past, I studied Chemical Engineering and worked at several industries here in Guatemala, where I learned a lot.  After that, and having had my daughter, I studied to become a Sworn Legal Translator, so now I am able to translate literature, legal documents, and also general freelance translations from Spanish into English and from English into Spanish.   I learned English since the very first year of school, which here is obligatory in most schools, and also I took English lessons after school, and also learned by traveling a bit to the US and Australia.

Now I work translating books freelance at home.  I think good translation is an art, and I love to translate books beautifully.

I like old fashioned literature, suspense and also new teenage stories.  I like to read about Nutrition and Health maintenance, so I am quite apt to translate such topics.  My hobbies would be going outdoors and getting some sunshine, also, going to the beach.   I like taking care of my two dogs, and petting them.   I have a daughter who is right now living in Toronto, Canada.
