I studied a Degree in Translation and Interpretation at the Jaume I University, Castellón, Spain and specialise in literary translation. English was my language B, and German the language C. I got some experience translating from the German language into the Spanish language some texts from the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil War collaborating with a History researcher. I have also experience at Babelcube and have participated in a crowd translation project to be eligible to translate some tales of Calleja from Spanish to English at UNED. At the time being I am engaged in a course of traslation from English Literature into Spanish at UNED and I am very pleased with the results obtained until the date.

Author review: I saw all of the 5 stars next to this translator's name and was so excited to work with her because of it. It was my intention to give this translator an excellent review because she completed the job in a timely manner. Sadly, instead, I have to say author beware. It is unfortunate that I didn't discover until after I approved the book that she literally altered the title to a book that I was giving a preview at the end of the main book. The book title is Paper Widow and she changed it to Proxy Widow. Why? Because Paper Widow didn't sound right to her. I ended up having to go elsewhere to get it corrected. Author beware is all I have to say. I will never work with this translator again no matter how many 5 stars are by her name. |
