English linguist graduate with academic achievements and practical experience in teaching English as a second language and Translator of various projects between English and Greek.
Having acquired a BA in English Language from the University of Athens and a MA in Translation Studies from the University of Birmingham, I have mastered the English language while having the opportunity to practice and use it in two different yet related fields, that of teaching and translation. I have worked professionally in the translation field for the past seven years, mostly in legal, insurance, EU, commercial as well as other fields. As a freelance translator I translate and proofread documents from English to Greek and vice versa. In addition, I perform verbal language interpretation on occasion.
