I live in a small town in the southeast of Spain where I was born.

I started to learn English at age 7, and since then, among other things, is what I continue to do.

I am fond of reading, I love reading about different themes and authors; and therefore I'm interested in culture in general.

I studied Business Administration at Miguel Hernández University, and my last training as a translator has been at the National University of Distance Education (UNED), obtaining a Certificate in "Translation from English to Spanish: Theory and Practice".

I have worked in different companies, in administrative and chief positions, always in contact with people of different nationalities, being English and Spanish the mean of spoken and written communication.

In my jobs, I have had the opportunity to translate many legal and administrative documents, as well as other kind of paperwork. But it is in my free time, as a  hobby, that I have always loved and enjoyed to translate the books and stories that caught my attention, hence, literary translation has become a dream and my true passion.

My recent translations are short stories and excerpts from Washington Irving , Henry James, Kate Chopin and Lisa Kleypas among others.

I feel translation is a really enriching and nourishing experience, and a great ally to introduce different cultures in the same world.
