I'm always accurate in choosing every appropriate word as I want that my translation transmits the same sensation and style from the original text, always respecting the Author´s writing.

My name is Danica Bartošová and I've been living in Italy since 2000.

I was graduated in Brno (Czech Republic) at the Masaryk University (1999) in German and Italian Languages and Leterature. At the moment my main activity is translating and teaching. I like writing and "playing" with texts and words. I "live" with the text, I am not in a hurry, I take my time and I want always deliver a good job.

My greatest translation work was Alfredo's Cattabiani: Florarium, Myths, legends and flowers and plants simbols; for the Publisher VOLVOX GLOBATOR in Prague, from Italian to Czech language, a book full of stories and myths on plants.

In 2000 also translations for the Publisher Michael in Olomouc (Czech Republic): in partner with other translators of the book “My life” from R. Steiner, from German to Czech; also translations for the Publisher Opherus, Semily: a book of readings “Education for loving animals” by Grohmann, from German to Czech; in 2013 I translated a story book from Ester Stará: from Czech to Italian.

Besides that I have made translations for many agencies of documents or technical manuals. In 2000-2013 translations for agencies in Studio First directly on their address as freelance until 2006.  The work was mainly the translation of technical nature (PROMATECH Company), specialized in looms, manuals for regulations, use and maintance of the loom itself, the user interterface of the console, electric schemes). Other translations for big Companies like Italcementi, Cattaneo, Tecnolinguae of Biella, BOSCH Milan, Scaglia INDEVA, BREMBO.
