Reading and writing have been my passion all my life, enjoying the classics and new authors.
First I studied to be an English teacher and later on I studied to become a literary translator. I constantly take courses of translation. I'm a member of AMETLI (Mexican Association of Literary Translation).
I opened my own LLC Cris Translates for book translation, publishing and English teaching.
I'm working with some authors of romance and historical fiction. I also work with authors to check their translations into Spanish (because knowing languages is not the same as being a trained translator).
I really love my job.
