Alejandra Ayala fell in love with literature during her early childhood. Her dreams of seeing the world emerged from her travels around her native Mexico and eventually carried her to Chile, where now as a translator she weaves creativity and the magic of words reaching across cultural and linguistic barriers.
While travelling with her family throughout the contrasts of the Mexican States, rich and alive with culture, customs and heritage, her desire to taste the world beyond her confines was awoken, but before her real journey could begin, her imagination and emotions would take her through the realms of poetry.
Her adventure began in her mid-twenties while working for transnational and international companies. As she grew unsettled by the limitations of the modern career and routines, it was time to move on. She now works as a freelance translator and copywriter from home.
