Workbook - climbing the ladder of success

After publishing the book "Climbing the ladder of success" there came a request from various organizations to have a workbook developed.

This workbook was designed to help you to practise and think about the success lessons and write down your actionable steps. In the book I share from research and studies as well as my experience of more than a decade as an expert in enterprise development, working with small to medium-size businesses.

My desire through the workbook is to help everyone hone in on important areas of running a successful business in order to bring true success. The workbook ensures that your decisions are put on paper for immediate implementation.

Sales info:

Ever since publishing the first book - "Climbing the ladder of success", I have had new speaking engagements in business platforms and self-mastery skills platforms. My books are tools for small business owners not only in South Africa but also in other countries.

Most of my clients order hard copies from my office for shipping.

Book sales has improved due to the demand for the material I provide through this book. I look forward to having this book translated into various languages to help other natives who do not speak English.

Write down time-wasting activities you will stop doing:

Understanding that your actions matter

Anybody can easily launch a business or an organisation but keeping it open is not as easy as it sounds. What will differentiate a successful business from one that fails is execution intelligence. This is the key – how you execute the ideas in running your business.

Successful entrepreneurs constantly remind themselves that only execution matters. Remember, you have to move with urgency. You don’t have all the time in the world. Now is the time. This should be non-negotiable. Tell yourself if I don’t do it now someone else will. You cannot wait for favourable weather or a more convenient time. This is the moment and you are to make a success of it. Successful entrepreneurs constantly remind themselves that only execution matters.

Write down important actions you will start doing this week:

Being flexible

In order to be successful, you have to be flexible. When you are flexible you allow yourself to face any adverse situation and still succeed. Things will not always work perfectly the way you planned but when you are flexible you allow the best to come out of difficult situations. Be creative. Use your imagination when things go wrong.

Had Pick ‘n Pay’s founder, Raymond Ackerman not been flexible when the Chairman of the board of Greatermans suddenly fired him as the General Manager of Checkers, there would be no Pick ‘n Pay in South Africa today.
