Moi, c’est Chantal. Ne me demandez pas pourquoi on m’a prénommée ainsi. Oui, c’est démodé, oui ce n’est pas très glamour comme prénom. Je sais déjà tout cela. Mais ce prénom me va comme un gant. Moi aussi, je suis démodée, ennuyeuse, quelqu’un qui se conforme aux règles. Je ne traverserai jamais la rue quand le bonhomme est rouge, je ne roulerai jamais sur la file de gauche pour faire rire les autres passagers du véhicule comme le faisait mon père. Je serai la fille que vous ne remarquerez jamais pendant une soirée, mais moi je me souviendrai de vous, de votre prénom et du logo sur votre T-shirt et cela même sans vous avoir adressé la parole.
