The cat in the hat: the kitty coven series, halloween story

Werecats and Witchcraft, A Pagan Romance.
Nicole is an orphaned witch who has spent most of her life homeless, wandering from place to place in an effort to remain hidden from those who fear her dark gift. But from the moment she stepped foot in Aspire, New York, she felt as if she had come home.
Now her life is being turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of a man from her past. Can he convince her to finally stop running from her fears, or will he be the reason that she returns to the unforgiving highway.
This is a short Halloween addition to a pagan romance series involving werecat shifters and witches. There are some suggestive situations and shapeshifter nudity, but these stories are safe for most mature teens and young adult readers.

Sample text:

With Halloween right around the corner, all of the tall maples that lined the main street were flaunting bright fall colors of orange, yellow and red. Yet their cheerful display couldn’t help her shake the feeling that something was wrong.

It was like a nagging, tickling sensation at the back of her neck. A prickle of eyes watching her from the shadows, or a cold breath whispering against her flesh.

With a mental shrug, she dragged her gaze back to the barista and gave him her order. A tall, dark and potent brew, which she hoped would help her through the long day ahead.

She had classes first. Then she’d be heading downtown to tend three hyper little boys while their father worked the swing shift.
