Lost In The Lord by Richard G Chaber

The path to treasure seems daunting, but you hold the map and key...

Lost in the lordYou're wandering around lost through an endless forest full of beauty, darkness, and despair and you come upon a broken-down fishing boat. You are extremely exhausted from trying to find the path that leads you out so you take refuge on the broken-down boat and as you watch the subtle river push downstream, you ponder if there really is a way out and if you'll ever find it. You have heard that if you do find the way out, something very special and enlightening is to be had. A sort of treasure that is intriguing and sparks your interest but the forest provides you with something you can see and feel, as you are just not sure if the way out will actually "pay off" as promised. The path to treasure seems daunting, but, you hold the map and the key. Billions of people have heard of Him but so many do not seek to know Him. You say his name everyday but many have never spoken to Him, others speak to Him quite often. He is confusing yet so brilliant, and even when He is hated, He loves even more. He knows your most intimate moments and understands your struggles, and waits patiently for you to say hello. Science has never disproved God's existence, so even if one does not believe, one must be open to the possibility because He shows us his existence every day, yet we do not see it. Christians have become our own worst enemies and the time is upon us to restructure the word of God and make Jesus cool again. There truly is a Heaven and contrary to popular belief, it does not take an elaborate and exhausting effort to enter. We are all humans of the flesh and Jesus' ways are not our ways as He clearly states, for His ways are higher. We cannot possibly live up to those standards and we are not expected to. There is a reason you know right from wrong and good from evil, and it is not from what you were taught, because, how did the teacher know? Human consciousness has no scientific explanation as to why we have one, yet, it is there we feel right from wrong and good from evil. Lost in the Lord is an interactive conversation including some poetry, serial killers, sex addiction, Satanism and self reflection into why many people choose not to believe in God and why, they may not know what they are missing.

There were horrific and deafening screams coming from the room down the hall as it sounded as if a woman was being brutally murdered. It was a rainy, cold night with massive thunder thumping the windows that seemed would shatter at any moment, yet even the sound of that thunder paled in comparison to the agonizing moans and groans coming from the room. After a while, the screams changed to crying and laughter that felt totally opposite to what was initially occurring, and with curiosity filling my bones, I just had to walk by the room to see what exactly just happened here. I pretended I was going to get a cup of coffee, although the vending machine was in the opposite direction, I thought I would just play dimwitted if questioned by anyone and so I proceeded. As I got closer, the volume of the laughter and the cries increased and I can remember thinking, "why that's odd, crying and laughter typically do not befit one another," but I could also feel the smiles, although I had not yet reached the room to take a peak to see for sure. As I got even closer, there were some people coming in and out of the room, dancing while walking it seemed and all had smiles on their faces, so I thought now was my chance as they all seemed preoccupied to worry about why I was approaching the room. I took my shot and very nonchalantly passed by the room and finally, now had a vision of what I was feeling as I got closer. That beautiful vision was...
