A former song writer, current poetry writer and author born to a Brazilian Mother and Syrian Father in Danbury, Ct. Richard was also a competitive athlete, recording artist and is a military veteran. I once said "this is what I was meant to do and I'm about to fail," and "continuous heartbreak's write the songs." It turned out that what I was doing was not what I was meant to do and those heartbreaks came from not being able to capture my dreams and goals as that was not my true calling. Poetry allows for expression in many forms; drama, pain, tragedy and triumph, and help and healing assisting in the transition to books. God has taken me in the path He wants for me, which is to help more people find Him through my words and with a spirited Ghost writer; Jesus Christ. Yes, my inspiration is drawn from my personal relationship with Christ. My methods are not traditional, but cannot be as we must adjust our approach when trying to reach people to having a relationship with God. I have since found my true path in life, and that is to help as many people as I can with my words, while providing some entertainment with a little bit of poetry, humor, and a lot of imagination.
