Introduction
As somebody who owned and managed my own soy candle business, and made my jar soy candles for eight years, I have discovered some guidelines to produce a great quality soy candle that I would like to share with others who would like to try making their own.
The scope of this book is not intended to go into the business aspects of a candle making business, but into the candle making process itself, specifically jar soy candles. If a person opts to launch into a business, due diligence and research should be adhered to before opening any business.
I have always loved candles and candle making. Even as a child, I made candles from the 2 piece molds from paraffin wax, and did a few whipped wax candles and pillar candles from metal molds. I sold these at craft shows in my early teen years.
