This book is a manifestation of years’ long observation of corporate environment and its culture. Therefore, this book shall be helpful to all the aspiring managers & leaders who have ever wished to get promoted at their work. On regular workdays, most of our time (of-course after deducting the sleeping hours) is spent at our work. I have personally observed many professionals living their life under an unfitted work environment. Either they don’t like their work or they not completely satisfied with their work. Despite this, they spend their life’s important years doing ill-suited jobs without realizing the need of the scaling up their role to bring back the excitement at work. The reason could be: either they have not succeeded in their goal in past so they dropped it, or they haven’t thought of it ever or they’ve thought of it however, they would have lost the interest and got distracted or they couldn’t prepare the correct plan of action to meet their goals which lead to the failure or distractions and ultimately they’ve lost their hopes of getting promoted to the next rank at their work.

In other words, right where you are, you can take on development and leadership positions and obtain the expertise you need to prepare for the senior level job for which you are dreaming of. Hence, before actually undertaking the responsibility to run an entire division, you can take a mentoring position or a team lead position or head up a small project, or even do some volunteering to get management experience.

Let’s look at some of the strategies in detail that need to be followed to fulfill your dream of climbing the corporate ladder and getting promoted at work.
