I write Australiana - historical novels about real people who lived through difficult times

Terry spring

Born and educated in London, I married a musician, sold my interviews with the stars of the day to the London music papers, worked full-time in Local Government and raised a family. We migrated to Sydney where I worked for global companies as a corporate trainer, writing and producing training films until retirement. I have written a number of ghost-written novels as well as my own - two of which sell in Australia's outback - Longreach Hall of Fame. One was used as a marketing subject at Griffith University and I re-scripted and produced a story from another which was filmed for ‘Tropfest’, a Sydney short film festival. I live on the Gold Coast where I sell my books through local shops, Amazon ( where I've had some good reviews), radio interviews and library talks. I have self-published these books and sold over 2000 of 'Transported' - the true story of a convict who became a wealthy farmer - and 600 + 'A Tambo Girl', the life of Hester Jane Brace who lived in a tiny town in Queensland, Australia's outback (even today its 11 hours driving from Brisbane). I understand that the German people like to read Australiana and I would like to sell it throughout Germany. I would like to work with a translator who is fluent in German and can understand that the uneducated lower classes in England didn't speak English well!
