I'm a native Portuguese speaker born and raised in Rio, Brazil. Certified in Advanced English at CNA (Cultural Norte Americano) with 12 years of experience in teaching English to private students, at regular schools and at CCAA (Centro Cultural Anglo-Americano). I have taken several trips around the world which have improved my cultural knowledge, my English skills and I had the opportunity to make friends in other countries. I also have successfully done some major translations (over 10,000 words projects) and this is what I like to do best. I am married to a Canadian citizen, a native English speaker who will be there whenever I need regarding English language cultural expressions. I am a student of the "Curso de Formação de Tradutores Brasillis" (Brasillis Translator Training Course), Classes to start on March 14th, 2017. Duration:15 months. 

Getting a bit more personal, my hobbies are reading books in English and Portuguese, learning new things in general (I am a very curious person!), watching TV shows in English with no subtitles (Friends fan here!), spending time with my hubby and my 5-year-old son who is already fluent in Portuguese and English (Yep, proud mom here)! He attends a full-time school which gives me long flexible hours to work on my translations.
