As a French native speaker, I've been studying English almost forever. After Highschool, I went to New York for 9 months where I got my CAE (Cambridge). Then, I started University where I studied Spanish, German and English for translation and interpretation. After that, I studied tourism as a Master to have a bigger range of options to start in my professional life, but I'm in love with books and languages so translating is all I want to do with my life. I'm reading between 5 and 6 books a month. I've got a community who follows me on Instagram where I share comments about books. This is where I could even talk about your work before its release. I've read so many good books in English which were not translated and that the French readers will never get the chance to know! This is where I want to stand : between your work of art and the readers waiting for it.
Regarding my french skills : it is my native language. I live in the french part of Belgium and I've always been good in French classes and in spelling. I like playing with words and I hate when I see bad translations which don't respect the meaning that the author wanted to give to his writing. My purpose is for your readers to feel exactly what you tried to make them feel.
